Here is a beautiful sweet faced prancer. Has some original brass round tacks added in the brestplate and bridle . Early carving probably 1880's -1900. Head carving is very similar to the early sweet Dentzels. She was in inner or middle row horse, details painted on .Her legs are in what is known as a striking or rearing pose. She may have had a rocking mechanism under her, she does not have a pole going thru the top of the saddle, not all European Horses did. Very realistic and well proportioned carvings, very Arabian looking. She is a light Dapple gray, with glass eyes, real horse hair tail. Finished now...Black saddle with gold scrollwork, and red blankets, and royal purple trim.
