Rare coin operated horse, the style is that of an Armored Knight's Horse, Medievil , Rennisance , Being painted NOW... The horse is early fiberglass, 1950's. Made by the Bert Lane Company, Miami, Florida, number L1117. Original metal plate still on horse. Also St. Petersberg Games, #220, 1958. The measurements are total height of 64 inches. Base is 20 inches by 43 inches long, by 13 inches deep. The horse himself is 40 inches tall and 39 inches long. Being Painted NOW... We have checked out and repaired the electrical and the motor, it does not have a coin box , just runs at a gallop when plugged in. He is dressed in the armored plating over the back of the horse and his face plate. Then a fringed skirting under the saddle and armor. What is very unusual is that he has a double foot rest for the size of the child, that we have recovered in leather (this would have been to protect the knight's foot from getting caught). The horse also has , on his side a holder for the javlin or jousting pole ! Also a beautiful Plume on his headdress. This piece can be shipped by truck , or you can pick it up.
