Whitney Reed Swinging Glider Horse # 15 ...48 inches long Cat. No. WReed56

This horse came from the May Company in Cleveland, the metal tag is still on the back of the wood frame. Antique Whitney Reed Horse, called the "Swinging Horse" , was produced from about 1904 into the 1920's, this is the model number 15. Made in Leominster, Mass. Enameled, with an 9 inch body , 44 inches tall and 48 inches long. He has his original glass eyes, metal horse shoes. Note the Star pattern bracket, their logo. This horse would be great for a child up to about 3- 7 years old. Also available the number 14 "Swinging Horse", his little brother, We can offer him original , as is and just replace the mane and tail , or we can restore and repaint the entire horse.
