Antique Converse Horse, called the "Swinging Horse" , was produced from about 1904 into the 1920's, this is the model number 14. Enameled, with an 8 inch body , 40 inches tall and 45 inches long. He has his original glass eyes, metal horse shoes. Almost identicle to the Whitney Reed horse, slight difference in the face and shape of the legs. This horse is in a rich stain, originally a bay, (black mane and tail) but can be a chestnut (flaxen- blond mane and tail) if you prefer... We can either offer this horse basically original, just replace mane and tail, or restore and repaint the entire horse. This horse can have the saddle and bridle replaced unless you want them as is.
