A complete set of 12 Carousel Horses and Animals. Franklin Mint Limited Edition. Made about 1988-1989. Measurements are: 11" tall, 16" round. In excellent condition. The two tiered, hand rotating carousel stand is made of mahogany wood. Brass is enlaid around outter edges of both tiers. A handsome spiral wooden pole is in the center of this fabulous carousel. The carousel base is carved out to insert each animal in a secure fashion. The two tiers make an excellent display for the six horses, 1 giraffe, 1 goat, 1 elephant, 1 lion, 1 tiger and 1 camel. Each animal has a metal carousel pole and is on it own base, so they may be removed from the carousel for individual viewing or separate display. In this true Franklin Mint presentation, there is so much detail work on all horses and animals it is just too much to describe. Of course, all are hand painted. The original price of each animal was plus shipping and handling. What a great value you have here for the entire completed collection.
