A great treasure, this Brown Mohair Rocking, Circa 1930-1940. Whitney Reed Glider Horse, in almost all original condition. Fur is in very good condition. Several small bald spots. Especially around the mouth where the bit was. We are replacing the bit. He has yellow Glass eyes. The Horse and base measure 44 inches long by 38 inches high, by 16 inches wide. Original oil cloth saddle in good to fair condition, and most of the bridle, original stirrups. We have not replaced the mane and tail we can replace it with real horse hair and done a few minor repairs ) . Replaced leathers for the stirrups and reins. Notice the Blue Scalloped almost carousel like blanket and breast collar. This is original to this piece. This is a very difficult piece to find in this condition. For a real collector, or doll lover. This is as good as the day it was bought, can be ridden by a child for many happy hours. We are showing you before and after photos (comn soon).
