Large 62 inch Bayol Prancer Carousel Horse

This extremely large Bayol, antique wood Prancer measures over 62 inches tall, and 50 .inches long with out a tail. He is being restored now, we have just stripped off the old Park paint, and are stripping off the old metal and bondo repairs. Bayol had his own metal plaques or shields on his horses, and this one dates the horse to about 1885-1900. It is a rectangular plaque , about 2 inches, With Bayol, Anger, France on it. He has a basic breast collar with a Heart on the front. On his bridle is the typical pressed metal rim and a glass stone. The Blanket is a Checkerboard pattern with opposite diagonal stripes in each box. Will look beautiful when he is repainted. This carousel horse is extremely muscular. nice head and powerful neck. Can be your colors....this horses war originally a Bay (Brown) with a black mane and tail..
